For this book cover design project, a hypothetical client provides a synopsis of his story and our task was to create a book cover that can tell what the book is about and what the book is like. My cover design for 51 Hidden Suns seeks to balance the whimsy of children's stories with the sophistication of adult fantasy, I aim to portray a sense of mystery, adventure, and enchantment that would appeal across ages. The chosen design approach is inspired by children's book illustrations with an urban low-fantasy twist, using colors, textures, and shapes that evoke an otherworldly but familiar warmth.
