For our final project in my Digital Design 1 Class, we were tasked to create a zine about a topic that we are passionate about. The design should use the dynamics of basic and creative typography and must incorporate up to 300 words of original content. As someone who is an advocate of biodiversity, wildlife protection and conservation, I decided to play around this topic of interest for my zine which features illustrations of Cebu's endemic and threatened flora and fauna, key protected areas, and a call for participating in citizen science conservation to preserve the future of our own threatened wildlife, while employing creative typography executions, hence the title WildCebu.
